Google Drive gets a UI overhaul for iOS

Google has kicked the tires on their Drive app for iOS, bringing over the familiar card-style UI that has dictated the company’s other recent mobile updates. It’s a welcomed change for an app that often seems neglected among Google’s stable.

The UI utilizes cards with thumbnails and a central search function, but there are also some usability tweaks underneath the hood. Links to files and documents can be copied to the clipboard, sharing is easier, and landscape editing is now a possibility. It’s enough to warrant a second look at Google’s cloud storage and document option if you haven’t already.
