Talk about a busy week in mobile–whoa! Any number of news items this week from any one of the major platforms would be enough to stand alone as the biggest announcement of the week. Add them altogether, and we almost can’t keep up. Highlighting just some of the top stories this week–Microsoft got things started by finalizing a deal to buy Nokia, to bring hardware and software under one roof. Apple pulls the trigger on the worst kept secret in mobile news and finally sends out invitations to their iPhone Announcement Event schedule for September 10th. IFA 2013 kicked off in Berlin, and Android is selling Kit Kats now?
