While Apple may have lost a bit of overall share to a market flooded with low-cost Android devices, that hasn’t slowed down the iOS train one bit. At their event to announce new iPhone update’s, CEO Tim Cook revealed that Apple will hit 700 million iOS devices shipped by next month.
The impressive figure could grow even higher after Apple unveils a new low-cost iPhone model today with hopes to penetrate emerging markets to a a greater extent. Huge up front sale of the new iPhone 5S won’t hurt either.
