Official: Apple announces iPhone 5C, will replace iPhone 5

Apple has made it official. Acknowledging that we may have seen a few leaks, the company has announced the iPhone 5C. The handset will replace the iPhone 5 in the current lineup of devices, marrying the popular hardware of last year’s popular model with a plastic unibody design available in several color options.

It features support for more LTE bands, dual-band WiFi a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. It will be available in 16GB and 32GB models in blue, white, pink, yellow, and green.
