The day is here: Apple’s iPhone 5S (and iPhone 5C) launch event is mere hours away. You no doubt will want to follow along live, and here are your best bets heading into the 1PM EDT/10AM PDT event.
Apple’s last big event–the iOS 7 announcement–featured an official livestream. Might we see one for today’s big show? If so, it will likely be limited to those within Apple’s ecosystem. This means if you have a computer running OS X (and Safari), Apple TV, or an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod), an official stream could be made available through Apple’s site or an event-specific app at some point later today.
We might not know about an official stream (if one exists at all) until moments before the event. Should one surface, this is your best bet for a clean, steady feed live from the event. We’ll update this page accordingly.
If you aren’t currently the owner of any Apple products but interested nonetheless, there are still a few ways to track down a livestream. Your best bet is to search out a bootleg stream of Apple’s feed or another coming from the event posted to a service like ustream.tv or livestream.com. We’ll be checking throughout the day for any good looking feeds and posting links and/or embeds right here.
If all else fails, any number of tech-oriented sites will be providing live blogs and event coverage, including yours truly. iSource will be following the event all day and posting announcements and updates as they happen. Stick with us and you won’t miss a thing!
