It’s iOS 7 day, and that means the app updates developers have been cranking away on since Apple first announced the revamped iPhone software are also beginning to make their debut. Today has already seen a large number of refreshed apps, nearly all of which include mention of iOS 7 in their changelogs.
Apps seeing updates today include Gmail, Vine, Instagram, Shazam, and Netflix among others. Apple’s first-party services like iBooks, AirPort Utility, and the App Store are also seeing new versions that improve compatibility and trend toward iOS 7’s design language.
And this is just the first volley. Expect many more apps to see update, both minor and major, over the next few days. With a new operating system and new iPhones just around the corner, developers will be working feverishly to make sure their offerings are up to snuff with iOS 7.
