I think you already know the answer. No one is better at marketing than Apple. I update every year. I want the newest iPhone and have several upgrades in my household, so I always get the subsidized price. I sell my “old” iPhones for $200 more then I bought them for each year, too because no other phone hold it’s re-sale value better than iPhones–none. I actually make money on them each year_and_have the new hardware.

If iPhones are so amazing then why does so many wait countless hours and in such a rush to get rid of the one they have. lol. Jut messing though.
