Apple TV 6.0 update resumes after being pulled for bricking devices

apple-tv-overviewYesteray we reported that an Apple TV update, which was released last week, was pulled after reports surfaced that the new software was bricking devices. The update is now live once again, resuming the rollout of version 6.0 of Apple’s television platform.

The new version of Apple TV most notably brings iTunes Radio into the fold, but also enable music purchases directly from the set-top box. It also enables video streaming for iTunes purchases. If you are an Apple TV owner and didn’t receive the update before it was pulled, you should be able to snag it now sans any accompanying headaches.
