Space Gray iPad pictured, 12-inch iPad rumored

You will soon have a Space Gray iPad to match that Space Gray iPhone 5S you had to settle for after supplies of silver and gold ran out almost immediately. That is, if these pictures have any veracity to them. We’re saying the chances are high.

Sonny Dickson got his hands on the fifth-generation iPad and offered up a gallery of shots, including images of the color option that replaced the standard black of pervious iPhone models. If all comes to fruition, it will round out a Space Gray lineup that also includes a refreshed iPad mini.

In other, less certain, iPad news, reports state that Apple is working with Quanta Computer to develop an even bigger tablet device. With a targeted size of 12 inches, it is posited that the slate’s goal would be to recoup declining MacBook Air sales as customers opt for tablet devices. But this particular rumor we will take with a grain of salt. Apple may very well be developing a larger iPad, but there is no guarantee we will see it outside of Cupertino’s R&D department.
