We’re only a couple weeks out from the unveiling of Apple’s new iPad lineup, but we’re getting an early preview courtesy of Sonny Dickson. As with the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c before it, Apple is having a touch time keeping their fifth-generation iPad under wraps. Here it is in all its Space Gray glory.
These images leave little to the imagination, showing off a retooled casing that takes its cues from that of the iPad mini. It also showcases the aforementioned Space Gray finish making its tablet debut (the color first popped up with the iPhone 5S last month).
Aside from the external changes, the iPad is expected to see a bump up in processing power with the inclusion of Apple’s new 64-bit A7 chip. It could also ship with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Alongside the new full-size iPad, the iPad mini is expected to see a refresh with a Retina display.
