U.S. Cellular announced this afternoon they will begin offering the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C on November 8th along side the iPhone 4S. US Cellular is the largest of the remaining ‘unsigned’ Apple partners and fifth largest carrier in the United States. Apparently, they finally decided that enough was enough and that they wouldn’t make the same mistake they made in 2011 when they shunned the iPhone. While we still don’t have any other information like pricing and plans details, the folks at U.S. Cellular couldn’t contain their excitement of the addition of the 5S & 5C to their network, promoting the news on Facebook and Twitter.
Do you live in the Midwest or one of the smaller markets covered by US Cellular? If so, will you be adding an iPhone to your US Cellular account on November 8th? Let us know in the comments section below.
