Yes, the Apple Store is down ahead of today’s special event that should see the introduction of a refreshed iPad and iPad mini. The site’s offline status shouldn’t be surprising, as it has become typical procedure in the hours preceding any of the company’s recent big product unveilings.
When the store comes back online, expect to see several new devices in tow. Along with the previously mentioned iPad refreshes, we could see new MacBook Pro laptops or even the official release of the updated Mac Pro first shown at WWDC 2013.
Apple will be livestreaming the entire event later today. Things kick off at 10 AM PDT/1PM EDT.
