
After showing off OS X Mavericks and a new line of MacBook Pro models, Apple detailed some developments with the Mac Pro first shown off at WWDC earlier this year. The new desktop powerhouse still doesn’t have a firm release date, but for those eager to get their hands on the Big Apple, it will be well worth the wait.

The Mac Pro will feature next-generation Intel Xenon processing with up to 12 cores, dual-GPUs, support for up to three 4K displays, and much more. It also feature an array of easily accessible ports that make the tower easy to configure to a user’s ideal setup.

When the Mac Pro launches, likely in December, pricing will start start right at the $3,000 mark, which is — all things considered — not a terrible price for what it gets you.
