Where to watch Apple’s October iPad event live stream

We’re counting down the minutes until Apple showcases their latest product offerings at an event to take place today at 10AM PDT/ 1PM EDT. We expect to see new iPads, a few Mac hardware and software updates, and possibly more. If you’re anything like us, you won’t want to miss any of it.

Unlike their September iPhone event, Apple will livestream their October iPad event for all OS X, iOS, and Apple TV users. If you are on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac device, you simply will need to point your browser to Apple’s Special Event page.

You’ll need to do so using Safari (at least version 4 for users using OS X 10.6 or later or iOS 4.2 or later for mobile users). To stream on Apple TV you will need gen 2 or gen 3 hardware. An updated Apple Events channel should have arrived earlier this morning.

Of course, an official stream means unofficial duplicates are likely to crop up on sites like ustream.tv and livestream.com. If we find any reliable feed we will repost here.

As always, you can follow along with us live. We’ll be bringing up to the minute news and coverage of all that Apple has to show off. Be sure to stick around throughout the day for even more.
