Though the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display launched last week and is already available for purchase, Apple is still working out a few kinks. The most major? An unresponsive keyboard and trackpad.
The issue is more so an annoyance than anything else. Users experiencing what Apple is calling a rare problem have been able to get things working again simply by closing display and reopening (Cupertino recommends waiting about a minute). Nevertheless, it is an issue, as acknowledged on Apple’s support forums, and a fix is on the way.
It isn’t clear when a patch will begin rolling out, however, only that one is currently in the works. It could be worse, anyway. Your new laptop could smell like a litter box.
