iPad mini with Retina display to launch…tomorrow?

Chalk this one up to, well, weird timing to say the least.  We are left scratching our head as to why Apple would launch/make available the iPad mini with retina display tomorrow without as much as a press release, public comment or announcement.  But here it is, in black and white, confirmed by multiple sites this evening on Apple’s own GSX site (Global Service Exchange).

Countries listed for the launch day release include Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and the US.  It has been noted that it is already November 12th in some countries right now, and we have yet to hear of any launch day conformation in said countries.  Apple is typically a creature of habit, and although they could un-expectantly diverge form their predictable time table of release announcements and coordinated international launches, we don’t expect that to happen for the launch of the new iPad mini.

Stay tuned for updated details when they become available.
