We weren’t expecting it, but Apple launched the iPad mini with Retina display today. The new tablet brings the display resolution of Apple’s smaller tablet up to par with the 9.7-inch iPad Air, a feature many fans of the mini have been clamoring for.
But overall, not much has changed. Yes, Apple gives the tablet a faster 64-bit A7 CPU to go along with that fancy new display, but is that enough to pry $399 from your wallet? We’ll be conducting a full review over the coming days (spoiler alert: we got one), but in the meantime, who will be going in blindly?
Who out there bit the bullet and ordered the iPad mini with Retina display today? Let us know in the poll below, and be sure to give your thoughts in the comments and on the iSource forums.
