SkyDrive’s new iOS app features automatic photo backups

Microsoft’s SkyDrive app has been updated to support photo backups of all the images captured by your iOS devices. The new feature, which rolled out to the cloud storage solution’s iPhone and iPad apps today, comes along with improved Office Mobile editing and OneNote integration.

Yes, it’s one of many services that offers users a way to backup their precious photos (from Apple’s own iCloud to Dropbox), but maybe there is a place for all of them. After all, most free versions offer a finite amount of storage space, or maybe you just favor a bit of backup redundancy. Regardless, moving images from your phone to the cloud is a quick and easy way to free up some storage space.
