This upcoming Friday isn’t any old Friday. No, it’s the Friday after Thanksgiving, better known as Black Friday. Seen as the kickoff date for the holiday shopping season, plenty of retailers will offer special deals and incentives to get shoppers into their stores. Count Apple among them.
While Apple hasn’t revealed specifically what sort of deals to expect, the “one-day shopping event” has been confirmed via a splash page at Apple’s online store. Deals will be available at Apple’s retail outlets as well as online, and it looks like any purchases made on Friday will receive free shipping.
In previous years Apple has offered discounts on MacBooks, iPads, and iPods of up to $100, and similar deals are expected this deal. Those seeking deep savings on Apple products will probably find better offers at third-party retailers this Friday. That is, if they are willing to brave the holiday crowds.
