Add WhatsApp to the list apps that have received their complete iOS 7 makeover. The popular messaging app now has a UI to match the design standards of Apple’s latest mobile update plus a bunch of new tweaks and enhancements as part of version 2.11.5.
New features include broadcast lists to quickly send a message to specific groups of contacts, improvements to location sharing, bigger thumbnails, new notifications, as well as the ability to crop images before sending. That makes this one hefty update for WhatsApp users.
As always, WhatsApp is a free download offering one year of free messaging service. After that, WhatsApp charges a yearly fee of $0.99. Find the latest version in the App Store now.
