
After Apple reportedly reaching a deal with the world’s largest wireless carrier, pre-orders for the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S appear to be on schedule to begin this Thursday, December 12th. While China Mobile has not confirmed the device, it has verified that pre-orders will begin for 4G capable handsets ahead of the rollout of the carrier’s LTE network.
An ad was located on China Mobile’s site pointing the date for China Mobile subscribers’ first chance to purchase the iPhone through the service provider. The last of the big three carriers to official carry the iPhone, it is said the 42 million of its 740 million users are already using an iPhone.
The company’s new 4G network will launch in several major cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, on December 18th.
