After briefly appearing in the App Store earlier this week, MyGlass, an app that links a user’s smartphone to his or her Google Glass, has returned as a free download. In line with speculation after the app disappeared, it appears the reason it was pulled was due to a required software update that had yet to reach Glass headsets.
With MyGlass, users can easily setup Glass, connect to WiFi, link contacts, and mirror the eyewear’s display. As the description accurately points out, the app is useless without Google’s expensive piece of wearable tech, which as of right now is limited to a select (but growing) group of beta testers.
