WowWee, known for robotic toys and other gadgets, has revealed its latest gizmo here at CES 2014. Introducing the MiP, a two-wheeling robot that can link to an iPhone for remote control and other input.

The MiP stands about a foot tall and operates using a similar technology as the now ubiquitous Segway personal transporter. The technology allows the MiP to balance on its two wheels as it spins, races, and even dances to music from your iTunes library.

The iPhone connectivity, which we had a chance to see first-hand, allows the user to control various aspects of the MiP, change play modes, and even sync the movements of multiple instances of the robotic toy. The units we saw were surprisingly nimble, but you can see for yourself by checking out the above video.

The MiP is currently up for pre-order for a price of $119 and comes in both white and black versions. Look for units to ship this spring.
