Mac Pro shipments slip to March in some regions

The Mac Pro is somewhat quietly staking a claim to be among the best new gadgets unveiled by Apple last year. While it won’t ever sell in numbers to match the iPhone 5s or iPad Air/iPad mini with Retina display, high demand has similarly forced shipping delays since the powerful workstations December release.

Customers almost immediately saw shipping windows slip to February of 2014, and now in some regions things have slipped further. In Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, buyers can expect a shipment date sometime in March.

In the United States, shoppers can still expect — for the time being — their Mac Pro towers to ship sometime in February.
