
Apple is expanding iBooks Textbooks and iTunes U Course Manager to include over 50 countries, the company announced today. New regions include Italy, Brazil, Japan, and Russia.
iBooks Textbooks and iTunes U provide students, educators, and institutions with resources and tools to create and distribute educational content on a wide scale. iTunes U was first introduced in 2007. iBooks Textbooks was announced in 2012.
In total, 51 markets now have access to iBooks Textbooks while 70 have access to iTunes U Course manager.
