Artists expected to perform at the festival include Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, Pitbull, and Keith Urban. As with previous iTunes Festival performances, all five nights will be streamed via iTunes on multiple platforms as well as the iTunes Festival app for iOS and Apple TV.

The iTunes Festival originates as a month-long musical festival that first took place at London’s Roundhouse art center in 2007. A number of iTunes Festival EPs with tracks compiled from previous performances are available via iTunes.

Apple has typically given away tickets for free through drawings via iTunes and the iTunes Festival app. Apple has not announced specific ticket availability for the SXSW edition.
