Google Drive price cuts bring 1TB now only $10/month

Heads up: Google  just introduced new rates for its storage tiers, offering up plans for as low as $2 up through $100 (or more) for a virtually infinite amount of space on the company’s cloud servers. The monthly shared storage plans are good across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google+.

Users get 15GB of free storage to start, while 100GB can be rented for only $2 per month. At $24 per year, your wallet will barely notice the difference. Still, more storage is available. 1TB (a whole TB!) can be had for only $10/month, while plans with 100TB+ start around $100 per month. On that note, we challenge you to find enough data to fill 100TB.

The new plans are effective immediately. Google’s various apps that take advantage of this cloud storage space, including Drive, can be found in the iTunes App Store.
