iPhone-mail-tips-and-tricks

We use our iOS devices everyday for a full range of tasks ranging from the most mundane to the more complicated and elaborate often without even thinking about “how” we perform such tasks.  Some of us are definitely more tech savvy than others, but we all can benefit form sharing what we know.  I often find myself, even years after buying my 5th iPhone, finding out new ways to use and interact with my iOS devices.  Today is one of those days, so I thought–why not share these tips and tricks with our readers?

How to insert a photo or video in an email message

When you are ready to send off an email that you would like to add a picture or video to simply touch and hold  your finger in the location you would like to add your media. At this point you see a message prompting you to select one of five different options.  Next, select Insert Photo or Video, and then choose a video or picture to attach from your Camera Roll, Photo Stream, or any shared streams in your collection.

Mark, move or delete multiple messages at once

You can organize multiple messages in your inbox at once.  To accomplish this, choose Edit in the mailbox app, then select multiple messages, or all of them at once.  Then, select from the following options–Mark as Unread, Move to Junk, Flag Move, or Trash all the selected messages.

Get back to your list of Draft Messages

Here is one that I couldn’t believe I had never tried before this week.  To go back to your list of Draft Messages, hold down the compose button to open up a running list of all your saved Drafts.  At this point, you can choose from your list of draft of messages, and continue editing.

Have any Mail tips or tricks you’d like to share–feel free to add them in the comments section below, or head on over to the iSource Forums!
