According to multiple sources cited by Mark G from 9to5 Mac, MacBook Airs will be going on sale this week–possibly as early as tomorrow. Rumored new MBA’s are believed to be arriving in large quantities at Apple stores across the US and will be the “feature” item displayed in an overnight reset.
Should you buy one of these new MBA’s? While it’s always a good thing to update your hardware when upgrades/refreshes to the processors are available, this is believed to be the extent of this upgrade with Apple moving to Intel’s latest Haswell chip-set.
So if you were waiting for the long awaited/rumored 12″ potentially low-cost MacBook refresh that we think will have an even thinner profile, possess no internal fan, run on Intel chip, not Apple-based A8 processor and possibly even ship with a hi-res retina display, it looks as though you will have to wait a little longer.
