During the WWDC event this afternoon Apple introduced Family Sharing--a great new way to share information between members of the same family. As long as everyone is signed into the same username/credit card, Family Sharing is available to as many as 6 members at any given time. Now members in the same household can share and scroll through purchases made by other members of the family.

During the WWDC event this afternoon Apple introduced Family Sharing–a great new way to share information between members of the same family.  As long as everyone is signed into the same username/credit card, Family Sharing is available to as many as 6 members at any given time.  Now members in the same household can share and scroll through purchases made by other members of the family.

In addition, and probably the most welcomed feature of all, when kids make purchases, a permission email/notification is sent to a designated parent to approve before they can download the app. All this information can be set up on devices when they are first being set-up or when new devices are added to the Family Sharing plan.
