The Pangu jailbreak tool was released just less than two months ago. Compatible with iOS devices running 7.1-7.1x, Pangu was originally only available for machines running Windows, but was updated to include Mac support two weeks later.
Now the Pangu team has released version 1.2, with some updates that are targeted at making the jailbreak process easier for new users. The update is available for both Mac and Windows, and it includes mostly bug fixes.
Of note is that this update is not needed for those who have already jailbroken their devices. Rather it is intended for users who have been experiencing issues during the jailbreak process. It has been suggested that if you did have issues, you should consider restoring your device and re-jailbreak it with the updated tool.
