Jim Dalrymple of the Loop just tweeted that Apple has sent out invitations to a special event, believed to be the announcement of the iPhone 6. The date coincided with the speculated Sept. 9th announcement that we had previously heard from Re-Code. Festivities kick-off at 10 am PST, and will be held at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino.
