Sega today released the first official port of the classic Sega series, Sonic the Hedgehog. This appears to be a straight port of the 1991 original Mega Drive game and is the first installment of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Share this:

Gravulous is a $.99 game that lets you create planets of various sizes then blow them up, to be replaced by new planets. Like billiards, you plan your shots, using the walls and other planets to bounce around the screen until your planet comes to rest. Share this:

Review: inTouch for iPhone

Nearing 40,000 apps, the App Store has become a repository of useful applications that may serve only a few purposes but do them well. inTouch is a good example of a small utility, something that could easily be a feature of the native contact application, but is a very handy $.99 app.

The basic premise of inTouch is simple, as you flick through your contact list inside of inTouch a little Red/Yellow/Green indicator will tell you whether now is a good time to call or not, based on their time zone

Review: Star Trek Countdown

Star Trek Coundown is a 4-part series that serves as a prequel to the movie, filling in some of the backstory and adding more depth to some of the characters. The movie stands alone, obviously, but the comics paint a picture of the events occurring before the opening scene. I’m not really a fan of comics, but I figured it was worth $.99 to check out the first part and see how the app works and the storyline …
