Pangea Software Adds Location-aware Leaderboards to Enigmo & Four of Its Other Popular Games

Pangea Software makes some of the most popular and critically acclaimed games for the iPhone “ titles like Enigmo, Cro-Mag Rally, and several others.

Today they ‘ve announced that they ‘re adding a major new feature to five of their iPhone games “ a location-aware leaderboard service.  The games that are getting the new feature are: Enigmo, Bugdom2, OttoMatic, AntiMatter, and Billy Frontier.

The new feature will let players of these games to participate in local as well as global high score competitions.

Pangea Software Inc., a leading developer of interactive entertainment for Apple® iPhone™ and iPod® touch, announced today that it has teamed up with Geocade™ to provide a location-aware leaderboard service for five of its popular games including Enigmo, Bugdom 2, Otto Matic, Antimatter, and Billy Frontier.

Geocade is the largest location-aware social gaming platform that not only allows players the ability to participate in local competition and battle for the high score, but they can compete with players from cities and towns across the globe to see how they rank. The leaderboard service has been implemented into five Pangea applications as a free update and only requires the participant to enter a username in order to register their iPhone or iPod touch.

Having a ‘social ‘ element, and an ability to share and compare scores, seems an increasingly essential component for iPhone games “ so I ‘m sure this news should be welcomed by players of all the Pangea games
