There haven ‘t been very many new features discovered as yet in the last couple of beta releases of iPhone OS 3.0 “ as perhaps Apple has concentrated on speed and performance enhancements. Today I ‘ve discovered a nice little new one though, thanks to a post over at The iPhone Blog.
In the Contacts app, you can now simply swipe to the right to get rid of an individual field you no longer need.
This is a fairly small improvement “ reducing your effort on this particular action from 3 taps (Edit, Minus button, Delete button) down to a swipe and one tap “ but it ‘s better than a kick in the teeth.
And I like a bit of swiping anyway. 🙂
