I ‘ve never got into the whole pirates / ninjas / talk like a pirate things much “ so hope you ‘ll forgive the cheesy post title. I know lots of folks do get a big kick out of all things pirate-related though “ so I thought I ‘d share some news from the devs of the Pirate Radar iPhone app.
Pirate Radar is currently reduced to free, from $0.99 “ for ‘a very limited time ‘. I ‘ve not tried this app out (nothing against it, just not a pirate kinda guy) “ so here ‘s a slice of it ‘s App Store description to fill in for my lack of knowledge:
Ahoy ye Scalawags This app can help ye find a Hot Servin’ Wench, Yer Pirate Capt’n or even Buried Treasure, maybe! To use Pirate Radar, first look around the room yer in. Find ye stranger you want as yer Wench or Capt’n. After pressin’ yer button and the app has "Found Ye", Choose the Radar ye wants to use, Wench, Capt’n or Treasure. Hold yer iPhone or iPod Touch UP in front of yer face. Move towards yer target and tilt yer iPhone DOWN as ya reach ’em. When yer target on yer iPhone reaches the bottom of the screen ye should be at yer destination be it Wench or Capt’n. The pinging from yer iPhone should get thar attention! Now talk ’em into joining ya on yer journey!
There you have it. A bit of pirate fun and ice breaking possibly, and free to grab right now “ so no need to walk the plank if you don ‘t find any wenches or treasure I guess. You can find it in the App Store now
