BuddyFeed has been my favorite way of accessing Friendfeed on the iPhone for some time now. It ‘s an app that gets daily use, and plenty of it, from me.
It ‘s just had a major update, to Version 2.0. I ‘ve been fortunate enough to be involved with beta testing the app for a few weeks now “ and I can tell you it ‘s a very worthwhile update! In fact, I ‘m going to get a review up very soon.
In the meantime, here are some of the changes in this new version:
- UI redesign “ (a major one!)
- Tab navigation
- Supports links in entry view and comments
- Some stability bug fixes
I can tell you that one issue it has resolved for me “ which some of you may have seen as well “ is stability when viewing entries with a hundred comments or more. Previously, I could almost never scroll through an entry with high comment numbers “ now this is quite solid and very rarely has an issue.
Oh, and it runs well on the iPhone OS 3.0 betas, including the current Beta 5 release.
