This isn’t very iPhone friendly, but it gives me sort-by-date — a must for checking my tasks list. Open in Safari, and then select Add to Home screen (or somesuch, I forget exact wording).

This allows offline access, and its interface is highly similar to the mobile tasks site.

In reply to Ben. I haven't figured out how to manually move the tasks so they are ascending date order. You said you can do it on the computer and that the iphone will then be in that order. Can you explain the process for a noob. I tried doing it in the calendar view but that order doesn't sync to the iphone. I'm probably not in the correct place on the computer. thanks. dj

And the ability to sort by date in the iphone view. That is the biggest flaw right now. I have to manually move events around in “my order” on the computer in order for my iphone to be able to view the list in chronological order. That is just ridiculous. Otherwise, it is fantastic. So I guess its sort of fantastulous & ridastic.

Appreciate your comments. All I really need is a "fast add" item in iPhone calender like the "Fast Add Contact" app. Nothing is available and really calender entry is soooo silly by having to go back to the initial screen to add a date or a time or a group or an alarm etc…. Silly. Why can't we have an app for fast add calender item??

I agree. I LOVE Google Tasks. I use it in GMail all the time, but the lack of offline support kills it.
