If you were hoping for something that’s worth more than a quick chuckle, urine for a disappointment. Urinal Test turned out to be one part app and nine parts advertising for the Man’s Book, but I downloaded it because it was the top of the “free” category and the icon looked cool.
It boils down to testing your urinal selection saviness. There are six urinals across the screen and you’re tasked with placing yourself amongst them (and other men) to create the least awkward situation possible.
You do this 25 times and are scored based on whether you chose the correct spot or not. Every time you clear a level you ‘ll hear the sound of a toilet flushing. The game isn’t challenging, but the premise is just weird enough to have warranted a look. It’s also presented very well, which helps disguise the shallowness of the app. The other men around the urinals (I can ‘t believe I ‘m typing this) come in two different heights, but it doesn ‘t really add any depth.
I suppose I might be a little harsh here. After all, the Urinal Test didn’t cheat its way to the top. But after a quick look it certainly seems like the name and the silly logo are the only really interesting parts here.
