But I just can't believe with all the time that the iphone has been out that there is not a real backup solution. Especially knowing how many jailbreakers and developers there are. Everyone who has had to restore their iPhone knows the pain of getting it all set back up the way they had it.

And the iTunes Backup process is slow and the results are pitiful. I have yet to have a successful restore with everything the way I had it.

I MISS SPRITE BACKUP. Sprite Backup and/or SPB backup would allow me to get my phone all set up with everything the way I wanted it and save an image or backup of it. That way when I wanted to start fresh I could restore the backup and be up and running with everything the way I like it with out spending about 3/4 to several days getting it all back in shape.

it takes forever to get all the apps rearranged, settings tweaked, media sync'd, email and calendar set up. I can restore a winmo phone or even a full pc in a quarter of the time it takes for me to restore an iPhone.
