My Word Scramble was working but now when I complete a challenge from a friend it won't show I completed it. I can do the same puzzle over and over again and it won't clear. When I removed Scramble from my iPhone and then put it back on I had 30 challenges, again if I do one it won't mark as complete.

Any ideas?

I agree on the ringer volume issue – should be done better.

Scramble is now crashing, and returning me to the home screen. It was working fine prior to the update. It also still uses the main ringer volume as its volume control. This is not good, as I keep turning the ringer down to play, then I forget to increase the ringer volume when I'm done. Other apps seem to be able to handle separate volume for within the game.
