A few days ago I did a post where I moaned and groaned pretty heavily about the lack of any *real* usable backup solutions for the iPhone.
In the last couple of days I ‘ve spotted a little bit of salt for my backup wound, in amongst all the buildup to the launch of the Palm Pre.
Apparently the Pre will offer daily automatic backup. I haven ‘t found any details yet on this “ so not sure where it backs up to, what and how much it backs up, how much control users have over what is backed up etc.
I have to imagine though that almost no matter what those answers are, this is going to be better than what we have on the iPhone. I ‘ll be looking out for more info, and probably cussing and stamping my feet a bit each time I see any. 🙂
