In reply to Mar. One of the primary reasons the iPhone has become so popular is the fact that 99.8 percent of all the applications available are free and created with open-source code. Meaning the idea of it all is to use code, images, etc. that other programmers have already developed, so as not to re-invent the wheel (so to speak). I am just saying if Scott Johnson is not complaining then you should just leave it alone man. You apparently do not appreciate the technology that is freely given to you.

Mar – no worries at all. I think it's cool that you had your friend's back, and the principle is sound. I honestly would not have covered the app if I'd have known it had ripped its graphic contents without permission. Oh, and I'm pretty expert in that leaping without looking sometimes too 🙂

I guess I jumped the gun here because it hit me personally and professionally to see a friend's art used without permission. I was absent the day they taught "Look before you leap." :)

Mar – when you say *you* shouldn't steal artwork etc., I hope you realize I am not the developer of this app, and have nothing to do with it, other than having installed it via the App Store and given it a once over here. The images are screencaps from the app.

Perhaps you want to contact the app's creators …

You shouldn't steal artwork. All that art is copyright Scott Johnson from myextralife.com. I hope you're making arrangements to pay him or remove that app from the store.
