This is an interesting new iPhone app that caught my eye this morning. It ‘s called h2desk help desk software “ and it seems to provide a nice way for staff who provide user support to do that more effectively when they ‘re on the run, away from the office.
The app requires that you have a h2desk account. I have to admit, I ‘d never heard of h2desk before today, but it seems to be a neatly pre-packaged sort of helpdesk solution for companies, that can be hosted by h2desk or installed on an internal server. You can see details, demos, tours etc. on this at their site, HERE.
Here ‘s a little more on what the h2desk iPhone app lets you do:
This application will let you easily view and manage your support tickets, reply with predefined replies and knowledge base entries, change statuses, flag tickets and more.
Most support systems these days have good web interfaces, but it ‘s nice to see a native iPhone app for this purpose.
I ‘m a little surprised to see this one in the App Store though “ seems like it might want to have more of an internal company distribution method, for helpdesk / support staff.
You can find the h2desk help desk software app in the App Store now, priced at $0.99.
