Site Stuff – Welcome To a Great New Sponsor

I spend only a tiny percentage of my time thinking about or dealing with advertising on this site (I much, much prefer working on content) – but one of my goals for it is to gradually reduce the number of ads, and to end up with a smaller number of higher-quality ads from companies and products that I feel happy endorsing. 

Today I ‘m very happy to say the site has got one little step closer to that goal “ as we ‘ve got our second ‘sponsor ‘ type advertiser “ AgileMobile.  They absolutely fit the bill in terms of being a company I feel happy endorsing, as I ‘ve been a fan of their apps, and in particular their Agile Messenger IM app, since way back in the days before the App Store launched.  It was my favorite jailbreak IM app, and it ‘s now my favorite IM app amongst App Store choices as well.

Back in June 2008, I did a post saying I thought Agile Messenger was the best iPhone IM app I ‘d seen.  That was its jailbreak version.  A couple of weeks back I reviewed the App Store version of Agile Messenger “ you can check that one out HERE.

I was also very fond of Agile Forces, a turn-based strategy game from AgielMobile, back in my jailbreak days “ and I ‘m looking forward to seeing its App Store version as well.

Seth, and Reg and the AgileMobile team have also been generous contest sponsors with us here at JAiB in the past “ offering up promo codes for our readers to win. 

And they ‘re keen to run lots more promo contests for our readers now “ with promo codes and possibly even some cash prizes on offer – which I ‘m very pleased about because I think contests are big fun and a nice little way of saying thanks to all of you for reading and visiting here as well.
