iPhone 3G S to Have Oil Repellent Screen

MacDaily News is reporting on something most of us missed yesterday. Deep down hidden away in the iPhone How-to page is an article on cleaning your iPhone. There we find that the new iPhone 3G S has an oleophobic coating on the screen, meaning it repelles oil from your hands and face. Here’s an excerpt:

“… If your iPhone has an oleophobic coating on the screen (iPhone 3G S only), simply wipe your iPhone’s screen with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oil left by your hands and face.”
