I got these two books for my daugter as well. She likes them. I was a little dissapointed in the Monkeys… They only fall of the bed, I guess I've read other versions where the characters are jumping on the bed, riding bikes, playing different sports, etc. For me, it just got a little repetious falling of the bed and bumping their head.

You should also check out the books/stories by Little Bella. One is titled "When I close my eyes." my 2 year old loves it.
