After much speculation T-mobile.nl has posted the technical specifications of the new iPhone 3G S.
The iPhone 3G S runs at 600MHz which is faster than the current iPhone 3G and iPod touch models that run at 412 MHz and 532 MHz, respectively. iPhone 3G S also has 256MB of RAM compared to the current iPhone and iPod touch models that have 128MB of RAM.
Lastly, iPhone 3G S is thought to use a PowerVR SGX graphics processor, and with it brings support for OpenGL ES 2.0. These significant changes to the new iPhone’s internals may require developers to re-work their apps to accommodate the changes.
