I’m either trying to share a tip or just attempting to justify staying up this late, but just in case some folks don’t use their iPhones I’m the dark often enough to know (because you all have lives): if your iPhone screen is too bright to read comfortably in the dark, one very simple way to trigger the auto-brightness feature is to sleep and then wake the phone. Just make sure your finger isn’t covering the light sensor beside the earpiece and your iPhone will instantly adjust the screen from supernova to comfortable night light.
It actually does this automatically, too, as you’ve probably noticed. But sometimes it can be a little slow on drawing the blinds, so a quick sleep and wakey wakey wakey should do the trick. Or you could just read in the morning like a healthy person…
Nah.
