I would agree that it is much faster to accumulate gold balls when your are facing others. Unless you really begin crushing the ball in arcade mode, it is harder to get ,multiples of points. I really love this game.

Most fun for the money on all my iPhone apps thus far!

Yea I been playing matchup a lot to get gold balls. The best way to get them is to unlock achievments. I go look find one or two I want to beat and just focus on it. I have all the best gear just by doing that. 20 homerun combo, 20 crashes a game and such give you lots of gold ball points.

Cool – thanks for sharing that. I've only tried out the Matchup games a handful of times – going to start diving into those more now.

Its hard on arcade mode. You have to play other people to really accumulate gold balls- be prepared to lose at first but you can accumulate gold balls much quicker this way- like 6 a game.

Yea its really fun to play, I just thought maybe I was missing something. It just seems too slow to get points.

HI Justin – your first comment was awaiting moderation and I was not around, so it waited a while. As soon as I was back I approved it. Until you register with Intense Debate, and have one comment approved * with that ID *, all your comments have to wait on moderation.

Thanks for the kind words and glad you like the review and the game. As for the points and upgrades, I'm finding pretty much the same as you – it's hard and slow to accumulate them – but it's not bothering me as I'm hitting the ball OK and having fun with only a couple minor upgrades.

Was my comment deleted? I posted a comment and subscribed, came back and it was gone.

The review is great. I love the game but like I said in my comment that is gone is I have a hard time getting gold ball points. Patrick since you play matchup do you get the gold ball points more? I have only done arcade and classic and at the rate I get the points it would take me years to upgrade.

I've been playing this game for awhile but I don't do the matchup thing. Is it me or is it really really hard to get gold ball points to upgrade stuff. I play arcade mode and I can only get between 20 and 35 homeruns per game. At the right I get gold ball points it would take me years to be able to upgrade to better stuff.
